Wrote at Sightglass a couple times this weekend. I cannot imagine a space more situated according to my architectural loves (clean lines, high open reaches, wood, symmetries, flagrant geometry projects) than this shop. Not homey in the least but it sure is attractive. I also saw TGWTDT again, and I feel similarly about it: it may not mean anything, it may even be hollow, it certainly is shallow, and boy if it isn’t a fantasy of feminism from a man’s blunt force brain for torture, but good God damn I enjoy how its made.
